Class is in Session...

so...i've got some releases on deck...
Champzilla
We Bump E*Klipse Tha Champloo
both will showcase my skills as rapper and producer but in the game...you have to do a bit more than just rap or produce...you have to offer something the game hasn't seen before na'mean?
Thus enters studying other artists....to see what they did...no to copy them but take a piece from a lil and make alot...take pharrell for example he's the next generation slick rick....i've choosen ten groups that immma study in order to take my music to that next level...both lyrically and musically....

1. Outkast & Orgnazied noise

The shit they made years ago still sounds fresh...from their first LP to now...they always stayed different but sold....on top of that....they use alot of samples but just know how to flip em...soul? instruments? I could learn alot from then alone...

2. Wu-Tang

Never listened to alot of Wu-Tang but RZA and GZA are producing Gods on the Hip Hop side so i could use to learn about "moans" and how to make a simple loop sound fresh...

3. N*E*R*D

even though i listen to alot of N*E*R*D i've never listened to their first Lp which everybody tells me is the best because they were working with SpyMob...guess imma have to find out for my self....

4. Juice Crew

The 80s are getting played out...let's be honest how many 80's parties have you been to since like 07? I always considered it old people rap...but they started this rap shit so i need to go back...check the stlye...check how simple the beats were...not every beat has to be a symphony of sorts with a million different instruments...(look at a milli)

5. A Tribe Called Quest

What couldn't i learn from tribe? Catchy lyrics? Good beats? Shit if i could i'd be the new tribe...(sorry LB)

6. No Doubt

7. Reflection Eternal

8. Journey

9. Eightball and MJG

10. De La Soul

hopefully through this...i can find Champloo in a sense....
