so Japan is dope as hell...i had to get that outta the way...i have a bunch of videos up of just random stuff out here...but people are killing me...like...you don't have to rub it in...we know you're in Tokyo and shit...but yo...if you know me i've dreamed of coming out here since well...forever...my rap name is Champloo for crying out loud...regardless...to actually attain something like this is crazy...i never thought i'd see this moment and thats real...and now to hold it is unreal...i did a 3 mile run today...(even tho i almost died) when i finished i had Mt. Fuji in the background...nothing can even come close to that feeling of accomplishment...good luck fortune and God brought me to this point...

now on to other matters...

im working on this album...throwing a few ideas around but for once...taking my time...i swear the first tape i did took me a year to get all the songs and such together...well not a year more like 6 months...and i think it was only 9 songs...but they were 9 songs that i felt from my heart...and i need that feeling for this album...not just a bunch of club songs...just stuff that everybody can relate to and feel...i mean 3 mixtapes is coo but one classic album would be even better.

let me start this blog off by saying that Dee is that dude for finding a dope snapback and mailing it all the way to Japan for your boy! ok now ...so today i called my girl to talk about when she is coming to visit me...and it seems like...never...she can't afford to come out here...so it seems like i won't see her for 2 years unless one of two things happen...either i go back to the states to visit (which i plan on doing) OR paying for the whole trip myself (which will never happen) in light of her not coming tho this will actually save me alot of money...so what to do with all these moneies!??? well i want to invest in a new dope studio...especially since my time in the military is slowly coming to a close...3 G's will get me a really nice one...

BUT WAIT

when did i go from a slacker to provider? i have so many people looking in my direction for help...granted when i didn't have shit...well...to be honest...most of them weren't even there...and im tired of hearing the phrase "if i had it i'd do for you" get it...then say that...if i get out of the military all of that is out of the window...so what to do? should i stay in for other peoples happiness or get out to chase a dream for a few more years...and what if music never happens? then i'll just look stupid...ahhh...just the thought of proving all of these people right hurts...

so this is my last blog from states...i would have posted way more but i was stuck in Norfolk with 0 internet...it sucked ass...i didn't miss much i don't think...and i got a lot of time to reflect...as i sit in the terminal and watch all these couples hop the plane...i wonder did i make the wrong choice not getting married when i had the chance? I mean everybody talks about how cool it is to be single or even just to have a girlfriend but 90 percent of these females are lame as hell...regardless its too late to go back so here i go into the unknown well alone...hopefully something good musically happens over here...only time will tell...

honestly tho i will miss VA...i had alot of fun chillin' with the rebels (gabe, dante lewis, micah, daf, bub, ike, shit everybody) ...to my so proper fam...just everybody...to the ones i didn't see hopefully next time we can get up and make something happen...even tho i learned that some part of me has to let Norfolk/VA go...i have to move on and do more...take what im trying to do to new heights...it will always be home but at sometime you have to leave home right?

I liked his vocal style immensely, but it seemed too loud, or rather, the beat seemed too weak. At a certain point in his set I came to the conclusion that all this guy needs to be a great live performer is some better production. There is nothing more anticlimactic than a good rap song with a club beat wobbling unconvincingly through the PA system. The set was not dragged down by this fact much, and not all the beats were club. Funky horns gave some a Chicago sound, a la Lupe Fiasco with big city charm; others felt like the South and were properly wild. A floor full of people stood enjoying it. so i've been at my dad's house for the past few days...i only come thru every once in a blue moon so its always dope to catch up with my lil brother and sisters...who seem to miss me alot...its really starting to inspire me...believe it or not i haven't made a song since "Champloo Is Bad For You" dropped...i mean i've penned enough raps to keep my warm for the winter but i haven't made any beats (well i made one like 2 weeks ago that was dope)...i've just been kickin it and listening to people...as a rapper after a while you run out of things to talk about i mean really...i mean times can i say im doper than you...im gonna take your girl...how evil tony danza is...stuff like that gets old...but being home has began the process...esp since im not releasing any solo mixtapes this year at all (2011) that is...i will drop an album at the top of 2012 tho so look out for that...im getting the ideas together now...alot of Kid Cudi Mos Def Pink Floyd Interpol Kanye West Blu J Dilla and Outkast have flooded these headphones over the last few days so there is really no telling what the next project will sound like...i would like some new music to listen to tho so def if you have any suggestions let me know...

so the last few days...have well...sucked...and to say i don't somewhat deserve would be stupid...with all the shenanigans i've been running out in here in VA...most of which involved my homeboy Calvin...*smh*....it was fun...BUT...the other day me and main lady called it quits (so to speak)...that was a real bummer...on top of that it was noticed today that someone had broken into my room back in Texas and took my PS3...oh how that hurt...i had games controllers the whole 9...it was my early bday present to myself...i hadn't even used it like talking about because well...my girl at the time didn't really condone it as lame as that sounds....but wait...did i mention that N*E*R*D had a listening party today in VA...and where am i? in NC...super fail on that one... (even tho im about to visit the BBC/Ice Cream store tomorrow which will be hella dope)...so im a lil bummed to say the least...not to mention im about to see my dad sometime this weekend...shoutout my lil sis...i swear if it wasn't for him me and him wouldn't even speak...that dude hasn't changed one bit and i don't think he ever will but for the sake of my relationships with my other brothers and sisters i have to be at least pleasant to the man i guess...*rubs temples*...i hope things start to look up for ya boy...

on a different note...i copped a book on music (thanks to the homie Dante Lewis who pointed me in the right direction) ...to well...further educate myself on the matter....it might sound stupid to some but to make that jump from beat maker to producer i have to push myself to do better...
