i haven't been bloggin like at all because i've be trying to finish this mixtape...but between getting the verse/hooks/instruments from other people its well...hell...people act like they don't want exposure...they act like im not doing them a favor...it phuckin sucks...i wanted the tape done by the 1st of Sept...but did that happen? Hell no...i did get the art done which i will be releasing in about 2 weeks...but other than that it seems that im stuck to either move on w/o other people OR wait on them...which i dunno what im going to do yet...most of them i can do w/o...but the instruments i need on one song i do need...we shall see what happens from here...so the mixtape might get pushed back a week if things don't progress soon...we shall see...i doubt it tho..but you never know...seriously tho...how many of you rappers/producers make music just to play for your friends? *smh* some of the most talented people i've met have also been the laziest...this ALMOST reminds me of when i was recording "Thats Awesome" don't even get me started on that....
Now...the other day on twitter the list of the top 10 MCs in the 757 came out...and im not going to lie...about 6 of them i never heard of...the other four do the damn thing so nothing taken away from them...or anybody who was on the list...but the second the list came out in typical VA fashion niggas started hatin talking about how the list was fixed this that and third...and then...you had niggas publicly dick ridin on TWITTER...i mean damn homie at least DM dude...you all out in the open about it and what not...*smfh* ...everything is about the grind...the harder you work...the more benefits and shows you can get... (well not in my case...im just too far from where i need to be...but that will change in TOYKO!) alot of artists don't have managers and all that...shit all i have is myself...a mac book and a mic...and im 3 tapes deep not to mention all the production work i've gotten during this year...alot of yall cats need to stop rapping and get a real job already...you just taking up what little space is left in this music game...
